CanUX 2008: That's a wrap!

by Gene Smith on November 21, 2008

Earlier this week we wrapped another successful CanUX workshop/conference. Around 85 people from Canada and the US (but mostly Canada) gathered in Banff to talk about user experience, design, creativity, teamwork and a multitude of other topics. (There was also lots of great food and drink.)

The whole event was a ton of fun and we're elated with the positive feedback we've received. More than a few people have said it was the best CanUX ever. Here are a few comments I found on Twitter:

Thinking of how good CANUX was this year. Good vibe, good minds, good mountains. - Avi Soudack

#canux was great. Loved the last day drawing with @davegray and Adaptive Path. - Scott Baldwin

just got back from #canux 2008 and it was fantastic! - Dave Kachman

Thanks to everyone who attended--you make the event what it is. We hope to see you again in 2009. (If you want to keep in touch with people, Mack Male has compiled a list of CanUXers on Twitter.)

Finally, these photos of CanUX caught my eye (there are tons more on Flickr):

And here's a video of the drumming workshop (one of three creativity workshops we ran this year):
