Paper Prototype

Paper Prototype

A paper prototype allows designers to explore many alternative solutions with low cost and little risk. Paper prototyping typically involves sketches of a system made with markers, paper, stickies, transparencies, and other simple materials. The designer adds or removes pieces of the prototype to simulate interaction. The low fidelity format encourages experimentation, honest critique, and rapid iteration. Paper prototypes can be used in early usability testing.
