With a background in media/public relations and strategic planning, Carissa is well versed in content strategy, brand strategy, communications and user experience research. She has planned and implemented a variety of strategies for large non-profit and public-sector organizations – including post-secondary institutions such as NAIT, The Salvation Army and The City of Edmonton.
Stepping into other people’s shoes is second nature to her – she is an observer who questions assumptions and seeks to understand different perspectives.
As a Royal Roads University and University of Victoria graduate, Carissa holds a Public Relations diploma and Bachelor’s in Professional Communications. She has a cat named George, is a bit of a tree hugger and is always up for an adventure.
