We use a variety of analytics tools to help you understand how your website, application or Intranet is performing today, and to help you make better decisions about improving your design.

Our focus is on integrating analytics into the design process. For example, when we're conducting customer research, analytics helps us ask better questions and validate our hypotheses. When we're creating a design we use testing tools to evaluate different options. And after you've made changes we can help you plan for ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement.

Our typical analytics engagement might involve:

  • Analyzing your existing traffic to uncover problem areas and successes
  • Turning your analytics data into reports, dashboards and stories that describe how your website is impacting your business
  • Visualizing your data so it's easy to understand for all project stakeholders
  • Integrating analytics with other user research deliverables, like personas and usability testing, so we can tell you what's happening and why.
  • Establishing and monitor meaningful key performance indicators (KPIs)

We work with Google Analytics extensively, but we also have experience with Google Website Optimizer, WebTrends, ClickTracks, CrazyEgg and other tools.
